Stallion Breeding Contract

This STALLION BREEDING CONTRACT for the breeding season of 20____, is made and entered

This breeding agreement is between Troy Carrocce (Owner).

For the amount of $1000.00 Stud Fee, that includes a $300.00 Non-refundable Booking Fee.

Send in $300 booking fee to reserve a breeding for your mare for 2008 breeding season.

Terms
This agreement will cover shipments of semen for up to two(2) years from the date first shipment of semen or when the mare conceives and produces a live foal. A live foal is to be defined as one who stands and nurses after delivery. In that case, the agreement will be considered completed. If the mare is unable to conceive during two(2) years, then this agreement is considered completed.
General Provisions
1. Mare will be artificially inseminated.
2. Mare owner’s Veterinarian must certify that only the mare named above was inseminated and that all unused semen was destroyed.
3. Total Fee must be paid prior to the shipment of semen.
4. This agreement may be faxed or mailed to Carousel Friesians. (Please call before faxing).

Availability
1. Carousel Friesians will make every attempt to ensure prompt delivery of semen at the mare owner’s request. Due to the performance schedule of our Stallions, there may be blackout periods for the stallion. Please check with Carousel Friesians to find out if there any scheduled blackout periods. If a blackout period is scheduled, it will be posted on the website www.carouselfriesians.com
2. Carousel Friesians collects Monday Thru Friday, except Holidays . The Stallion collected is collected before 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time. If a request comes later, the stallion requested will not be collected until the following day.

Our Standard shipping provision is FEDEX Overnight A.M. Delivery. If other shipping arrangements are requested, all arrangements will be made and expense paid by the mare owner.

Transfer
The Mare owner may transfer this breeding to another mare if for some reason the contracted mare is:
Unable to conceive subject to the Approval of Carousel Friesians. Carousel Friesians requires a $200.00 transfer fee, and written document from the inseminating veterinarian that the original mare was not able to conceive and that it is recommended the mare should not be rebred. The Original termination date of this agreement will apply to transfers. This agreement is not assignable to any mare owner without the approval of Carousel Friesians and proper documentation in place, along with $200.00 Transfer Fee.

Fees
1. We provide Multiple Mare discounts, please call or e-mail for details on the discounts.
2. Collection and shipment is required. The Mare Owner will be responsible to pay $210.00, prior to the date of shipment. This includes collection of Stallion at Stallion Services, processing fees, and container user. Shipping FedEx would be charged directly to your account, or pay Stallion Services $65.00 FedEx charges.
